We’re currently going strong in Catholic Schoolhouse, using it along with a separate Math and Phonics program.
This week, the kids are learning about some countries in South America. They were so excited to color in the WHOLE map that we did just that–learned all the countries and filled in the entire map. I suppose next week we will have to just skip ahead a few weeks and go straight into Africa–which I am SO excited to learn about.
Because there are a LOT of African countries.
In an effort to figure out how to get the kids to remember each country in South America, though, I quickly put the countries in song to the tune of “Itsy-Bitsy Spider.”
The result? Well, click here to watch our video we made. Note the enthusiasm from the five year-old at the end.
